  1. a++ winch rope

    Posted by Sara on 8th Apr 2014

    I received my winch rope yesterday and installed it on my warn winch. It feels like heaven on the hands vs the standard winch cable. No more cutting/slicing fingers when needing the utilization of the winch on the fly

  2. Amsteel Blue 3/16' synthetic winch line is great

    The Amsteel Blue 3/16" synthetic winch line has worked very well for me. I have been frustrated with stranded steel cable ever since I bought my Yamaha Grizzly 700. The steel cable attached to the Warren 2500 pound winch snapped at least once each season and this year it snapped after 5 minutes. We live in the mountains at 2,100 feet and have over a 2,000 foot driveway and a 1.1 mile private road to plow. The terrain is very uneven and steel cable constantly kinked and overlaid itself on the winch until it snapped. The Amsteel Blue synthetic was used 3 times in our last storm to plow 7" of heavy snow. It worked like a charm. I unreeled it after each time to take a look at it and then respooled it unto the winch. No damage has appeared. I highly recommend this product and would have given it 5 stars if it held up for the entire season. It looks like it should. And it is so much easier to install on the winch than steel cable. Excellent product!
